Artist's Statement

I have always loved to draw. As a child, then as a second grade teacher, and currently as a parent, I have always found ways of expressing myself with art.

In 2007 I decided to devote an hour every day to drawing or learning about art. After three years of daily drawing, I was asked to donate a painting to benefit my child’s school. My first attempt at painting sold for $250.00. I’ve been painting every day since then.

I see art as a journey, and I hope to continue to learn and create every day, indefinitely.
